OAASIS Volunteer Donate

A Fabulous Opportunity to DOUBLE YOUR MONEY and PROTECT CHILDREN!!

Dear Friend,

We have incredible news!  A supporter has offered to match dollar for dollar everything we can raise between now and December 31. This is an opportunity to turn every dollar you donate into two, and of course, your donation is fully tax deductible!

As you know, OAASIS is made up of survivors and allies who are committed to making a difference for Oregon’s children and victims. Working together we can change public policy, protect children, and help survivors in their journey of healing.  Today, we ask you to partner with us in this critical work with a holiday donation.

Some highlights of OAASIS in 2011 include:

-           OAASIS Survivors Speakers Bureau spoke to over 1,000 individuals, equipping community members with a deeper and survivor-informed understanding of child sexual abuse.

-          We hosted our first annual conference, A Ray of Hope, where 120 survivors, family members, community members and professionals gained insight into child sexual abuse and healing.

-          OAASIS advocated for the successful passage of Senate Bill 425 and 430, and House Bill 2714 which protect victims of human sex trafficking.

-          Selected by the Ms. Foundation for Women as one of 15 grantee organizations who nationally address child sexual abuse and work together to create a nation-wide movement to stem child sexual abuse.

These successes are a result of the support and dedication of people such as you—people who have deep commitments to children and survivors.  We cannot do this work without you, and we ask that you join us with your support to move strongly into the New Year. Your gift will be multiplied and invested into the lives of children and survivors.

Thank you for your consideration and support. Donations can be sent to OAASIS at PO Box 2161, Portland, OR  97208, or by using the DONATE link on the website.
