You’re invited to our next monthly “Art it Out with Mel,” this Saturday, February 27, 2021, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (PST)!
For Black History Month our “Art It Out” art expression session invites sharing, exploration and conversation about Black/African American visual artists whose work you appreciate. The artist can be someone well known, obscure, a local artisan, a neighborhood legend and anything in between. Let’s hear each other’s favorites, exchange thoughts and pictures of the artist and their artworks. If you have little or no knowledge of Black/African American visual artists, then you are in for a treat of vivid color, earthy figures, swirling moods, and boldly expressed attitudes. Come share, come learn, come be in community with us as we Art It Out, Saturday, February 27th from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
Please bring your pictures, stories and/or reflections on your favorite Black/African American visual artist. This is going to be cool!
