About OAASIS
OAASIS exists to support sexual abuse survivors and prevent future abuse. We are an alliance of survivors and advocates committed to employing our personal and collective strengths, energies, and experiences to advocate and support sexual abuse survivors, educate others and to eliminate future abuse.
To this end, OAASIS partners with organizations and individuals who are committed to our mission, and seeks to empower survivors and the public with information and resources regarding sexual abuse. We do this through seminars, conferences, and public awareness campaigns. We also act as a resource for survivors of abuse, by helping them find counseling assistance, putting them in touch with support groups and other similar efforts. In addition, through related political committee and 501C4 organizations, OAASIS advocates for legislation and supports legislators who stand on the side of survivors and work to end sexual abuse.
