Your Voice is Important

Your voice has power.

It might not always feel that way, especially when elected officials make decisions about our lives that we disagree with. But, at the national, statewide and local levels, your voice can cause real change. Elected officials want to hear from you. There are countless examples of elected officials changing their minds (and votes) when they get new information and hear from the people in their community. Your voice has more power than you realize.

OAASIS works to amplify your voice. We try to find the right policies, timing and messaging to create structures that keep more kids safe and help more survivors heal. We work to plug your voice into the conversation when it can be heard the loudest.
